Vintage Greeting Cards

I found these in a local thrift store this last week, they are so beautiful. I miss sending and receiving these simple, sweet cards.

Mug Rugs

Just finished a couple of mug rugs for my brother and sis-in-law. These are really easy to make, if you like to embroidery. I find putting on binding to be a bit of a bother, take the time to do it neatly and all will be well.

Mug Rugs

Here they are with a simple scrap of muslin tied in bow.

Now to sit and write a letter. Don’t you love getting a hand written letter in the mail? I am not a particularly good letter writer but for my loved ones it is worth the effort.

Crocheted Rag Rug

This little rug is made up from scraps of fabric that have been knotted together and then crocheted into an oval. It will be used in front of the wood stove this winter, it looks so at home there.

Rag Rug

Crocheting it was not as easy as I thought it would be, and it is a little rustic looking, still, I like it.

Baby Overalls

Hot off the sewing machine, two pairs of 12 month size overalls for my nephew. He is around 6 months now, plenty of time for him to grow into these. We will also be sending two shirts and some socks to complete the outfits. These still need the inseam snaps, will be purchasing those when I get to the store.

Baby Gift

These are made up of light weight denim, soft enough for a small child but durable for everyday wear.
